Royce has lived in the Grand Valley for over 40 years. Since a young age he has been immersed into the outdoor wonders that the valley and surrounding area has to offer. He grew up working at his family’s local ski and bike shop the Board and Buckle still located on North Avenue. Here he learned the ins and outs of the valley and the community that shaped it. From skiing the snowy slopes at Powderhorn to scaling the desert landscape of the Kokopelli trails on his mountain bike, Royce has found bliss in nature.
